Miss Nazila Fough

Biography Dr Nazila Fough (FHEA, MIET, MIEEE) is a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in the School of Engineering. Previously she worked as network engineer in the telecommunication and internet network industry for 6 years. She is CISCO certified instructor, teaching network configuration and troubleshooting. She has a PhD in Telecommunication with focus on real-time video communication, a MSc in control systems and a BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering. Her research interests are related to real-time multimedia communication, under water wireless networks, image processing and smart control systems. Her expertise and skills are in data network protocols, congestion control in data networks, wired and wireless communication, smart control systems, object detection, image coding and processing.
Research Interests Real time video communication, congestion control, image processing, wireless communication, and underwater wireless networks.
