The Urban Design Awards are held every two years and recognise urban design-related projects with outstanding performance and contributions to urban design. Upon winning the award, Dr Zaman said; “Winning a Merit Award for the Border Urbanism initiative is recognition for the university as well as well as me. The subject of border urbanism reminds us of the current condition of war and aggression that demonstrate that researcher should go deeper into the meaning and consequences of displacement and migration.”// |
