Biography Katherine is a Lecturer in Events Management and Marketing, and current Course Leader on the BA (Hons) Event Management Course at Robert Gordon University.
Research Interests Katherine's early research lay in the digital transformation of events management education as well as engagement and development of live event projects.

Following years working within the third sector, Katherine is also interested in the social enhancement of individuals and communities through public and philanthropic events & activities.
Teaching and Learning Currently, Katherine has oversight of all modules on the BA (Hons) Event Management Course at Robert Gordon University.

Katherine leads and develops all the practical event experience of event management students inclusive of ongoing Industry Experience Placement, Live Festival Management and Live Client Event Project.

Katherine teaches on a range of modules to cohorts at undergraduate and MSC level inclusive of areas in marketing, events, tourism and sociology and social psychology. Katherine additionally supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students in research.
