Mr Matthew Sunter

Biography	Matthew joined the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic practice in 2019. He contributes to teaching and curriculum across pre and post registration programmes, with a primary focus on his role as Prescribing programme lead within the School. Matthew's clinical background includes District nursing and Community tissue viability specialist nursing.
Research Interests	Independent and supplementary prescribing of healthcare practitioners. Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMS) within the context of nursing and prescribing education. District nursing practice and education.
Teaching and Learning	Prescribing programme lead within the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic practice. Module co-ordinator for 'Prescribing for Healthcare Practitioners'. Contributor to teaching on BSc Advanced practice District Nursing programme, including as Academic Assessor.
