Biography Casey Farrell is a Doctor of Physiotherapy candidate in the School of Health Sciences, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Casey qualified as a physiotherapist from RGU in 2021 and currently works within the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit in Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen part-time while completing the doctoral degree. Casey's doctorate explores the use of lung ultrasound (LUS) by physiotherapists within the cardiac surgery population, particularly whether LUS impacts physiotherapy practice. Casey's research interests are in the fields of lung ultrasound and technology within physiotherapy.
