| Project Description | This project explored the imbalance between our perception of the Scottish landscape and what could be considered the reality. I try to piece together the myriad threads that bind the tapestry of our landscape together, in an attempt to better understand what shaped it, and to question the common perceptions of what is wild or natural. Deploying a documentary sensibility, my work as a fine art film maker and photographer looks to open discourse over our shared landscape. Looking to the actions of our past to better understand how the land affects not only our current, but also our future national identity. |
