People Involved
Project Description
Fife combines 5 sizeable urban areas, with large rural areas with isolated residences small villages and towns. It has relatively high unemployment levels which in some areas rise almost directly in relation to the rurality of the area or the lack of transport infrastructure
Lack of appropriate transport options in fife is a key barrier affecting people ability to take up jobs or even forcing them to leave jobs when bus routes or times change. Many residents also have difficulty accessing essential services using the bus network
In partnership with Fife Employability & Training Consortium. Project led by West Fife Enterprise
