Project Description

A Health Determinants Research Collaborative in Aberdeen will bring unique opportunities for the City, its residents and as a path-finder for UK-wide and international learning. Our proposal is based on i) the strength of our existing arrangements for multi-agency decision making and ii) the breadth and depth of academic and professional expertise in the city, which is actively committed to collaborative working. This means that the foundations are already in place which will allow the HDRC to hit the ground running. Most importantly, it ensures that research will systematically and dynamically be applied in how we work to improve the health of citizens.
