The SIG group aims to engage educators and students in discussions about their experiences with Generative AI (GenAI). Educators from Computing, Art, Architecture, and the Built Environment at Robert Gordon University explored AI’s role in education, particularly in image generation, design, and writing. Understanding students’ perceptions and learning patterns is key to improving AI teaching methods. While GenAI offers exciting design possibilities, its successful integration requires adaptable strategies. Further research is needed on AI literacy, ethics, and its influence on creative processes. Strengthening AI knowledge will help students and educators use it more effectively and responsibly.
