Enhancing Cybersecurity of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Points Using Digital Twin Technology

People Involved

Project Description

The rapid adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) has led to a significant increase in the deployment of EV charging points worldwide. However, with this growth comes the risk of cybersecurity threats targeting these charging points, which could have widespread implications for vehicle security, charging infrastructure, and the stability of the National Grid. This research proposal aims to investigate the cybersecurity vulnerabilities of EV charging points and propose robust security measures, leveraging digital twin technology, to mitigate these risks.
