Project Description
This project aims to partner with secondary school students to empirically explore responsible use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and co-create open educational resources, articulating their voices and enacting their experiences via fictitious cartoon stories and characters. The project will also empower emerging school librarians as key agents in fostering the responsible use of GenAI, co-producing an open educational toolkit with resources on GenAI academic integrity, information literacy and critical thinking skills in schools, that will be widely disseminated via open online workshops. GenAISiS offers a transformative pedagogical approach, raising public awareness of GenAI and promoting equity and the student voice.
