Abstract
This is a call for papers for a special issue of the journal, Business Strategy and the Environment. The special issue aims to collect original and high-quality studies on how business models inform the perspective of the circular economy. Works were encouraged that analyze BMCs at the level of individual managers, single companies, value networks and industrial ecosystems. Particularly welcome were economic, management and sustainability theories and applications that specifically address the current challenges of designing, implementing and diffusing BMCs.
