Abstract
As of May 2016, Scotland has welcomed 1,602 Syrian refugees as part of the wider UK Syrian Vulnerable Persons Relocation (VPR) Scheme, aiming to resettle 20,000 Syrians (over a period of five years drawn from established refugee camps). This presentation reflects on the current activity, what progress has been made in year 2 and what are the next steps needed in year 3 of the VPR Scheme to help these New Scots integrate fully with their new communities
