Biography I am a lecturer in management specialising in energy transition, sustainability, and digital transformation, with over twelve years of experience spanning both industry and academia. My research focuses on energy transition road mapping, sustainability, carbon management, and strategic planning, incorporating principles of sociotechnical systems, sustainability transitions, systems thinking, accountability, transparency, and social constructionism. Through this interdisciplinary approach, I aim to strengthen energy policy and governance, shape the future of businesses and power systems, and drive innovation in technologies, facilitating the transformation toward clean energy and net-zero goals.

I currently organise the Aberdeen Business Research Seminar, a platform dedicated to fostering national and international research knowledge sharing through engagements with leading experts at RGU. Additionally, I lead a sustainability research project focused on shaping business practices and promoting innovative strategies to support net-zero ambitions across Scotland/UK. My work involves active collaboration on various research, publication, and commercial projects, with a strong commitment to delivering real-world impact through funded initiatives. I remain open to future research and collaborative opportunities.

I earned my PhD in Management from Robert Gordon University (RGU), UK, where my research examined strategic planning processes and governance in energy transition, with a focus on accountability and transparency to inform energy policies. Prior to that, I completed an MBA at RGU and obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. I have also held leadership positions, serving on the Board of Governors as a Doctoral Representative at RGU (2020–2022) and contributing to RGU’s Academic Council (2021–2022).Additionally, I have been awarded the British Council/ISPF Symposium Fund and have worked on funded projects, including those supported by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB).
