Professor Catriona Kennedy
Biography | Prof Kennedy is the Queens Nursing Institute Professor of Community Nursing in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at RGU. Her particular areas of responsibility and expertise are around building research capacity and capability with a particular focus on contributing to building a submission for REF 2020/21. She leads the research team in the School, works with early career and established researchers, supervises post graduate students and continuse to build a portfolio of funded projects and high impact journal publications. Catriona is a District Nurse by background and has expertise in a range of research methods with a particular focus on qualitative methods and evidence synthesis. She has published several Cochrane systematic reviews, published integrative literature reviews and evidence summaries for the Cochrane Nursing Care field. Catriona has been involved in a number of studies with a particular focus around community nursing, long term conditions, cancer and end of life care. |
