Biography I am the Queens Nursing Institute Professor of Community Nursing in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Robert Gordon University. My particular areas of responsibility and expertise are around building research capacity and capability with a particular focus on contributing to building a submission for REF 2020/21. I lead the research team in the School, work with early career and established researchers, supervise post graduate students and continue to build a portfolio of funded projects and high impact journal publications. I am a District Nurse by background and have expertise in a range of research methods with a particular focus on qualitative methods and evidence synthesis. I have published several Cochrane systematic reviews, published integrative literature reviews and evidence summaries for the Cochrane Nursing Care field. I have been involved in a number of studies with a particular focus around community nursing, long term conditions, cancer and end of life care.
