Biography Dr Bissie Anderson is a Lecturer in Journalism and a Journalism Studies/Digital Media researcher. She is the Young Scholars (PGR and ECR) representative of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) Journalism Studies Section. Her research appears in journals such as Digital Journalism and Media Studies. Prior to joining RGU, Bissie was a sessional Lecturer and Tutor at the University of Stirling and Bangor University. She has considerable media industry experience, having worked as a newspaper journalist, magazine writer, and digital communications practitioner for over a decade. She holds a PhD in Media and Journalism (University of Stirling), an MRes in Media Research (University of Stirling), an MLitt in Journalism (University of Strathclyde), as well as a BA (Hons) and an MA in English.
