Associate Dean for ADSE

Biography Dr Elliot Pirie is Associate Dean for Academic Development and Student Experience within the School of Creative and Cultural Business His primary teaching actives are in areas such as marketing, consumer psychology, research methods, and international branding. His research interests are in consumer psychology, specifically the influence of haptic information on consumer decision making.

Elliot is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is involved with RGU’s Swiss partner programmes in Zurich and Lucerne. He is / has held positions as an external examiner for the University of Hertfordshire’s INTI Malaysian programmes, University of West London’s London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism undergraduate provision, Edinburgh Napier University's undergraduate Marketing provisions, University of Huddersfield's Tourism, Hospitality and Events undergraduate provisions, and as an external panel member for validations at University of West of Scotland and Northumbria University.
