Project Description

The Data for Net Zero (D4NZ) initiative will deliver shared analytics platforms and data science projects. The science will provide fact-based understanding and awareness on thematic challenges, set by industry, to uncover insights and visions to help direct NZ activity.
The opportunity, through the Subsea and Decommissioning National Centres, is to utilise a high-performance computer unit (HPCU) and the new simulator and build on the Universities' applied data science track record to create an academic team, to deliver the D4NZ programme.
With the funding, a core academic team will be formed across the centres, steered by industry bodies, to undertake a 3-year programme of work.
