Project Description

PointCloud processing is an important component for 3D applications, specifically for object detection and tracking, as well as change detection, which are essential services.

In this project, we are working to design an adaptive point-cloud registration model to resolve the strip overlapping issue by predicting the overlap using structure information (sampling coordinate-based) and discriminative pointwise feature similarity. This work includes point cloud alignment, change detection and reconstruction for effective visualization of 3D objects.

This initiative holds great potential for various applications in fields such as computer vision, robotics, geospatial analysis, industrial metrology, automobile industries, and many more.
