This project explores the well-being of immigrants within the context of business start-ups. Current theories on well-being largely reflect Western ideals and overlook the unique challenges faced by immigrants, such as prejudices and cultural norms. We will investigate how Indian and Chinese immigrant entrepreneurs in the UK and New Zealand perceive and manage their well-being, including gender differences in these strategies. Utilizing a comparative case study design, we aim to clarify the concept of well-being among ethnic migrants and develop a model to aid immigrant support organizations in enhancing their entrepreneurs' well-being.
