HerAIPath: Innovating Women through AI-preneurship

People Involved

Project Description

This project aims to advance gender equality in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and entrepreneurship through an inclusive three-staged program tailored for women in South Africa. The intersection of gender and racial inequality presents significant barriers for Black women entrepreneurs, necessitating targeted intervention to facilitate their success. This gender equality partnership between the UK and South Africa focuses on five key objectives: providing education and training, inspiring women to pursue AI-preneurship, engaging in outreach to underprivileged communities, fostering research capacity and knowledge exchange, and raising public awareness about these critical issues. Through the partnership, we aim to dismantle systemic barriers and create pathways that enable women to thrive within artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship.
