"Join us for a creative and eco-friendly Sustainable Scrunchie Evening, where students from across schools are invited to up-cycle scrap textiles into stylish, one-of-a-kind hair scrunchies!
In support of Sustainable Development Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and the Make Do and Mend movement, this hands-on workshop encourages sustainable fashion practices by giving fabric remnants and new life instead of letting them go to waste. No prior sewing experience is needed - guidance and materials will be provided!
Come along for an evening of fun, skill-building, and sustainability, and leave with a handmade scrunchie that's both fashionable and environmentally friendly. Snacks and drinks also provided!".
