Biography Dr Chioma Onoshakpor is an award winning lecturer in Management and Entrepreneurship and the Race Equality Champion at Robert Gordon University. She is a recipient of the 2024 Emerald Literati Award for her outstanding reviewing contribution of academic literature.

She is an experienced entrepreneur and accomplished non-profit female advocate leader with 10 years of experience in helping scale businesses of female entrepreneurs in Africa. She runs the Boss Babes NG platform where she advocates for the growth of women through business financing. She has supported over 10,000 female owned businesses and attracted funding worth N3M for these women and continues to advocate for the rights of women and young girls.

As a lecturer at the Aberdeen Business School of Robert Gordon University she delivers lectures in both entrepreneurship modules and core management modules. Her core research interest is in the field of Entrepreneurship and with specific interest in the areas of Gender, Access to Finance and entrepreneurial motivation. She is currently the Co-investigator for an interdisciplinary project titled 'Design and development of prototype weighing system for remotely operated smart unmanned weighbridge machines', an Innovate UK funded project worth around £250k.

She has many reputable publications to her name.

Teaching and Learning Chioma is a Lecturer in Management and Entrepreneurship at Aberdeen Business School of the Robert Gordon University. She teaches on diverse entrepreneurial modules as well as core management modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
