Description | Dr Chioma Onoshakpor and Dr Tolulope Ibukun, both lecturers in Aberdeen Business School co-authored a paper alongside colleagues at De Montfort, Sunderland, Coventry and Greenwich Universities, which won ‘best paper in International Entrepreneurship’ at the just concluded 46th ISBE conference in Sheffield. The paper, titled "Building the kingdom of God or the Kingdom of man" sits in the nexus of Entrepreneurship and Religiousity, and explores the pendulum swings of balancing core mission with financial sustainability through Entrepreneurship. The paper questions the legitimacy of the institutions formed in the intersection of Entrepreneurship and Religiousity and the African context in which it is set, provides valuable and unconventional perspectives on how entrepreneurs work to innovate organisations and society through entrepreneurial activities in the global south. |
