Project Title Bookselling culture and consumer behaviour: Marketing strategies and responses, in traditional and online environments.
Project Description Taking a mixed-methods approach this doctoral research examined the consumer responses to marketing strategies in chain and online bookshops. Using interviews, focus groups and quantitative surveys, the research evaluated the consumer experience in bookshops, as well as exploring the role of coffee shops and the concept of third place.
