Development of a Hydrogen Vehicle Public Awareness and Perception Programme

People Involved

Project Description

Despite a number of projects in Scotland employing hydrogen as a transport fuel across the last decade or so, there is still very little public awareness of hydrogen as a transport fuel and little knowledge of what the public think.

This project will develop planning for a public awareness programme involving the production of relevant educational materials and the use of existing hydrogen vehicles to give members of the public (and media) direct experience of driving hydrogen fuelled vehicles for themselves.
